Tickets

Residential parents/guardians receive 15 tickets and non-residential parents/guardians receive 2 tickets. All seating is general admission and first come first served once inside the venue. Graduation announcements ordered through Jostens are NOT tickets to the graduation ceremony. Additional tickets will not be provided through the school. In the past, many of our families have networked with other families to find extra tickets.

Tickets will not be sent until all the following have been met:

Student Obligations:

-All fines have been cleared
-All detentions have been served
-CPR training has been completed
-US Exam, MO Exam, and Civics exams have been passed
-All community services hours have been completed, turned in and approved by Rebecca Steele

How to receive your tickets: Printed tickets will become available at 3:00 pm on April 18th in the front office at Lee’s Summit North. We will not have digital ticket options this year. Your tickets will be reserved so getting here right at 3pm is not necessary if you want to wait and avoid long lines you can. Seating is general admission the day of graduation so all tickets being handed out are the same general admission ticket.

Parents/guardians will need to come to Lee’s Summit North on or after April 18th to pick up tickets. Graduates cannot pick up tickets themselves, only a parent or guardian can do so. Tickets will start to be available from 3:00pm-7:00pm on April 18th and will be available during normal business hours from April 19th through May 19th.

Normal school office hours are from 7:30am-3:00pm Monday-Friday. Tickets will not be available after 3:00pm on May 19th.

Senior Checkout

Wednesday, May 17
Begins after 4th hour, 11:10 am

This is a time for us to collect Chromebooks, check name pronunciation for graduation, and distribute caps/gowns. Please be sure to arrive during your assigned time.

Seniors are responsible for turning in all district devices/equipment Seniors must complete the exit survey prior to entering the auxiliary gym Seniors will receive their cap/gown at senior checkout Seniors will leave school after completing senior checkout Please note that in order to receive your cap and gown, ALL fines owed to the school must be paid.

Graduation Night

Graduates should arrive between 1:30 and 2:00 p.m.

In order to participate in the ceremony, make sure your dress is appropriate as follows: Graduation gowns should be neatly pressed. Caps should be worn straight with tassels on the right side. Heeled shoes are not permitted. Graduates - personal items cannot be stored in the facility during the ceremony.

Diplomas: Students can pick up their diplomas after the graduation ceremony. Students choosing not to participate in graduation or students that do not pick up their diploma after the ceremony can pick up their diploma beginning on May 22 in the front office at Lee’s Summit North, Monday-Friday, 7:30-3:00pm.

Pictures: On the night of graduation, Pearce Photo will take pictures of each senior receiving their diploma, as well as a group photo of seniors throwing their graduation caps in the air immediately following the ceremony. All orders may be submitted directly to Pearce Photo either online at pearcephoto.com or by calling Pearce Photo at 816-331-8586. Prices vary; please check the Pearce Photo website or call their office for pricing. The Graduation Faculty speaker is Joy Reed.

Project Graduation

Lee's Summit North High School

When and Where: Project Graduation will be held at Belton Community Center right after the graduation ceremony on May 21. Tickets are required for admission (the purchased T-shirt will serve as their admission ticket) Students can arrive between 8:30-9:30 pm for bag check. Any bag of any size that a student wishes to take will be checked. Students will enter through the Events Lobby doors (east side of the school) to check bags ONLY. All other students will get directly on their assigned bus. Buses will depart from LSN at 10:00pm sharp. No one will be admitted onto a bus after 9:55pm. NO private transportation, NO late arrival, NO early release No outside guests will be allowed to attend.

When does it End? Buses will arrive back at North at 4:00 AM. Students must ride their assigned bus to and from Project Grad Watch for an email for instructions on bus sign ups, which will start Friday, April 21st

What to Bring/Not to Bring: There is a swimming pool at the venue. You may bring a bag with a swimsuit and towel. If you know you will not swim, DO NOT BRING A BAG. All bags will be searched/checked and transported separately. Please leave valuables and money at home No food or drinks of any kind are allowed on the bus

Where Can I Purchase Project Grad Tickets? Tickets are now $15 and will go on sale Wednesday, May 10-16th in the cafeteria. Tickets will also be available for purchase during senior checkout on May 17th. If ANYONE needs assistance with ticket purchase, please go to the counseling center for a discounted or free ticket.
